NDSU Anthropology Club - Officer Duties

The President shall represent the association, distribute work among committee(s) and preside over general body meetings and functions and managing public relations.

The Vice President shall be responsible to the President in regard to the records of the club; notification of meetings to the members/faculty; attend campus-wide student organization meetings on behalf of the club; and presenting the club's annual report.

The Treasurer shall be responsible for maintaining the club's financial records and presentation of the balance sheet to the club's executive board.

The Secretary shall be responsible for taking minutes during meetings and posting notification of special events.

The Member-At-Large shall be a freshman or sophmore student. The duties of which shall consist of assisting the other members of the executive board as needed and attending executive committee meetings.

The Faculty Advisor will be nominated by the President after consultations of the executive committee and then approved by the club members at a general meeting.

NDSU Anthropology Club - Purpose

The NDSU Anthropology Club is a student organization at North Dakota State University that is dedicated to the purposes of:

  • promoting student education and understanding about the broad field of Anthropology, its connections to everyday knowledge, and its relevance to the Fargo-Moorhead community.
     
  • organizing activities and events for the university community in order to facilitate better multicultural understanding and appreciation.
     
  • organizing activities for charitable causes.
     
  • providing mentoring assistance to students and others in relation to coursework covering the discipline of anthropology.
